Same service, same pronunciation, different name

It’s time for a rebrand! In order to make our product name clearer and easier to communicate about, Heii On-Call is now HeyOnCall

We’re excited to announce that we have hit a major milestone in our company, our first rebrand!

Heii On-Call is now HeyOnCall! Yes. it’s pronounced the same, just spelled differently (correctly?).

Why the change?

As HeyOnCall continues to grow, we have realized that the choice of whimsical spelling was getting in the way of clear communication. While we loved the “Heii” spelling, it was causing confusion when people tried to spell or search for our product. This change means that we won’t have to explain why we misspelled our own name, and you can focus on setting up monitoring and alerting instead of trying to remember how to spell our product name.

What this means for you

Hopefully nothing. This is purely a cosmetic change. Our url is changing (now https://heyoncall.com/), but the old api endpoints will continue to work. Normal website visits will redirect automatically. All other functionality (outbound probes, rotations, and alerts) remains exactly the same and will continue working without any interruption.
